Fascial Stretch Therapy
Assisted Stretching: Stretching done for you!
Stretching on your own has excellent benefits for your body and movement, but being stretched by a skilled therapist can take things to a new level.
Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a therapeutic technique performed by a trained therapist. It focuses on improving flexibility, mobility, and overall function by targeting the fascia, a connective tissue in the body. Fascia is a network of collagen fibers that surrounds muscles, bones, and organs, providing support and structure to the body.
FST uses movement through a series of stretches to unlock tension in the deepest layers of tissues. The goal is to ease fascia restrictions, relax the nervous system's hold on the tissue, and open up the joint space by stretching the fascia throughout the body.
Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) goals typically include:
Improve flexibility and range of motion
Relieving pain and discomfort
Reduction of stress and increasing relaxation
